4月26日晚，由中铁十局、中铁四局负责施工的引江济淮沪蓉高铁改建工程双线拨接作业全面开工。千余名铁路工人利用夜间高铁停运七个小时的“天窗期”，将沪蓉高铁改道至新线运营，为引江济淮航道建设提供条件。据介绍，这是国内首例高铁双线拨接工程，也是引江济淮工程全线重难点和控制性工程。引江济淮工程沟通长江与淮河，是国家重大战略性水利建设项目，也是集供水、航运、生态为一体的水资源综合利用工程。
